We are seeking an experienced Identity Management Engineer with expertise in Golang programming and Okta solutions to join our team. As an IDM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable identity and access management solutions. Your deep understanding of Okta, AWS and Golang programming will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.
In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable identity and access management solutions using Okta and Golang programming.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Integrate and configure Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and user provisioning across various applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain custom Golang tools and automations to support developer enablement processes and workflows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot identity and access-related issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Continuously improve IAM performance, security, and efficiency by staying up-to-date with the latest Okta features, Golang best practices, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Let’s talk about you:
Ideally, we’re looking for someone:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Golang programming and a deep understanding of its best practices.
  • Proven experience working with Okta IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, and user provisioning.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management best practices, standards, and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have, although not expected:
  • Okta Certified Administrator, Developer, or Consultant certifications.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure products, including ECS, Cloudformation, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, GitLab, or Travis CI.
